Expanding Our Production Floor: New Assembly Lines Now Operational
We've added three new production lines at our Kotugoda facility, increasing capacity for high-volume harness orders without changing our controlled build process.
As of April 2025, Lanka Tech Manufacturing has brought three additional production lines into full operation at our Kotugoda facility. This expansion increases our harness assembly capacity without any change to the controlled build process that underpins our quality system.
Capacity without compromise
The risk in any production expansion is that increased throughput comes at the cost of process discipline. That's not how we've approached this. Each new line runs the same work instruction system, the same material control process, and the same 100% electrical test requirement as every other line on our floor.
We've recruited and trained additional technicians through the same onboarding and competency assessment programme we've used from day one. Capacity goes up. The standard doesn't move.
What this means for customers
Orders that previously required longer lead times due to line availability can now be accommodated within our standard schedule. For customers with recurring high-volume requirements, we can discuss dedicated line allocation on longer-term supply agreements.
