“Automotive harnesses don't fail gracefully. They fail completely, in the field, when the vehicle is in service. We build to eliminate that outcome entirely, not merely to minimise its probability.”

Engineering Challenges

What automotive harnesses
actually have to survive.

01

Vibration & Mechanical Fatigue

Automotive harnesses endure constant vibration from the drivetrain, road surface, and chassis. Conductor fatigue, connector fretting, and strain relief failures are the primary field failure modes, all preventable with the right material selection and build process.

02

Thermal Cycling

Under-bonnet temperatures range from -40°C cold start to 125°C+ in proximity to exhaust. Insulation must retain its properties across this entire range. PVC isn't enough in high-temp zones; XLPE, silicone, or PTFE are specified where it matters.

03

Moisture & Chemical Exposure

Harnesses routed through the engine bay, underbody, and cabin face oil, coolant, battery acid, and wash-down. Sealed connector systems and appropriate jacketing keep ingress out for the vehicle's service life.

04

OEM Documentation Requirements

Tier-1 automotive supply chains require full material traceability, PPAP-aligned documentation, and first-article inspection records. We build to that standard because our customers' customers demand it.
